How does Loyal Care ensure trustworthy caregivers?
On our home page, we outline the thorough pre-employment screening process Loyal Care follows when hiring every care assistant. We take the time to truly know our employees— conducting face-to-face IN PERSON interviews, and hosting in-person discussions to better understand their experience, skills, and personal qualities. We do not hire applicants through on-line video meetings and we are not a dot.com business.
Training and monitoring client care is led by our full-time talent development manager and full-time nurse who make visits to our client homes ensuring quality service. This hands-on approach allows us to assess knowledge, recommend effective, safe methods of hands-on assistance, and ensure high standards of care. By prioritizing in-person hiring and training, we build strong relationships with our team and maintain the level of quality and accountability our clients expect. We provide strong value with the in-person interactions we take the time to conduct- making sure the applicant has the skills, experience, trustworthiness and professional acumen they say they have on their resumes.
We emphasize our professional strong company culture with a staffed business office in Kalispell. We are part of the community, not just in it, genuinely caring for our clients and client family members beyond just a transaction.

What are the costs of in-home care services?
The rates for in-home care are dependent upon the client’s care needs and the needed skill set. A contributor to service rates are the higher labor costs in Northwest Montana due to a higher cost of living. Medicare does not assist with in-home care or assisted living expenses. Medicaid in-home care assistance coverage comes through Medicaid State Plans or Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waivers, like Montana’s Big Sky Waiver. There are a couple of local in-home care companies who are credentialed to work with Medicaid, and Loyal Care is not one. According to state research, the average cost of in-home care in Montana is $40 to $45 per hour.
